Sometimes all any of us need is a good, long walk to clear our heads.
For Tom Turcich, his head-clearing walk lasted a little longer than most – seven years to be exact.
Inspired by the tragic death of a friend as a teenager, Tom vowed to pursue a life of discovery and adventure.
Mission accomplished.
In 2015, Tom set off to walk around the entire world- a feat he managed despite numerous setbacks that included illnesses to both him and his dog, being held up at both knifepoint and gunpoint, the COVID pandemic, and more.
In the end, the New Jersey native made it home again. His adventures led him to write his just released travel memoir – “The World Walk.”
Tom joins us to share some of his many Tales of his epic journey, and how it changed him and the way he looks at people, the planet, and his home country of America.
Put in the earbuds, take a good walk, and enjoy Tom’s story!
