Of all the places to be in quarantine during the COVID crisis, Simon Palomares seems to have lucked out.
Australia locked up hard and fast, and Simon went from performing stand-up on cruise ships around the world to hunkering down in his home city of Melbourne.
But while the USA struggles to contain the virus, Aussies are enjoying a zero-infection rate and mostly free-range travel throughout the country.
Simon has taken the time away from performing to pursue other passions, like brushing up on his cooking, exploring Oz in a van, and promoting his documentary film about standup comedy in Cuba, Latigo.
Born in Germany with a childhood in Spain, Simon has worked and played around the world his whole life. His background and experiences have lent a unique perspective to his comedy and his life.
