The “American Dream” isn’t always for everyone.
Rollie Peterkin found that out the hard way.
A wrestler throughout college, Rollie graduated and took a cushy job on Wall St to start his career. But something was missing.
A chance encounter with a respected fighter led Rollie to Peru, where he trained and quickly became a professional MMA fighter.
For a gringo who had barely left the the US, much less know any Spanish, “culture shock” was a term Rollie soon knew well.
But he persevered, and grew to love his new surroundings, his new direction in life, and his newfound appreciation for travel.
He even wrote a book about his experiences: Cage – Escaping the American Dream.
Rollie joins us and shares his Tales of fighting his way to a new life. Thanks Rollie!
