If the military teaches you anything, it’s how to be mobile.
For travel writer Marguerite “Peggy” Cleveland, that meant moving over 30 times to various parts of the world – first as a child in a Navy family, and later during her own 12-year stint in the Army.
Finally she and her fellow Army officer husband settled in Tacoma, Washington, where Peggy took quite a liking to her new home.
She recently published a love letter to her adopted city with her book, “100 Things To Do in Tacoma Before You Die.”
Peggy shares Tales of her upbringing and military experiences, and how she transitioned to civilian life, motherhood, and eventually travel writer.
You can follow her travels and writing on her site, Peggy, Where should I Go?
Thanks for sharing your story, with us Peggy! And thank you for your service!
