For as long as Mike Savas can remember, he had a list of things he always wanted to do.
Approaching 40 and with his job in the concert tour industry on hold due to the pandemic, the New York native saw his opportunity.
Mike embarked on what he called his “Mid-Life Awakening” – Learning 12 new skills in 12 months in 12 countries.
In the past five months, he learned freediving in the Bahamas, surfing in Costa Rica, capoeira in Brazil, salsa in Colombia, and been a conservation ranger in Kenya.
Currently at his home in Porto, Portugal, Mike is planning his next stops through Europe and beyond.
