The Wander Woman returns!
Plenty has happened in the six years since we last met itinerant traveler Megan Snedden.
In 2019, she left to live in Bilbao, Spain, teaching English while improving her own Spanish skills. Less than a year later, the country locked down hard during Covid, forcing Megan to return home to her native Southern California.
After nearly two years in the US, she was itching to get back on the road. She scored a digital nomad visa and moved to Portugal. To her surprise, she found more differences than expected between Portugal and Spain.
True to her form, Megan didn’t stay too long in one place. She spent time abroad living/working in Costa Rica and Guatemala. All the while, she focused on encouraging other women to be bold enough to travel solo.
Megan produced a video series on travel safety, and now hosts her own podcast on solo female travel- “Bucket List Babes Unleashed.”
In the past year, she also knocked a couple items off her own bucket list: climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro and performing standup comedy. Listen to find out which one scared her more!
Great to catch up with another friend who never stops moving.
Thanks, Megan!
