For many, travel is its own form of therapy.
Comedian Laura Hayden knows a thing or two about both subjects, having achieved her doctorate in physical therapy while indulging her passion for travel in her spare time.
While working as a waitress to pay for school, Laura was constantly told she was funny by customers, coworkers and fellow students.
She worked hard to overcome her shyness and fear of public speaking to eventually become a working standup comic
Though always an avid traveler, comedy opened up even more reasons for Laura to hit the road. She’s played on stages across the USA, Europe, and Asia.
Laura recently returned from her first trip to Japan, where of course she couldn’t leave without performing some comedy.
If laughter is the best medicine, travel isn’t far behind!
