For many, travel is a form of healing.
Kylee Nelson discovered early in her nursing career that travel also has a way of healing the healers.
She learned that a nurse’s unique schedule allowed time for short trips. Soon, Kylee’s trips got longer and longer.
Kylee eventually became a traveling nurse, getting paid to live in exotic locations like Montenegro and Saudi Arabia.
To inspire her fellow nurses to explore the world, she created her travel website, Passports and Preemies, which has turned into a full-time profession.
Travel also led Kylee to meeting the man who is now her fiancé in Greece, prompting the Omaha native to move to his native Paris in the coming year.
It would seem travel is not only good for the soul, but also the heart.
Bon voyage, Kylee!
