Performance artist Kristina Wong thought she would take a break from showbiz by making her first trip to Africa.
As a newbie to the Dark Continent, she could have chosen a more tourist-friendly spot than Uganda, but then again, Kristina is known for thinking outside the box.
At first, she suffered the usual culture shocks of being a stranger in a strange land. But then the most unlikely thing happened: she became a rap star.
A chance meeting with some young men in her neighborhood led to an invite to their bare-bones recording studio, where she was encouraged to drop some rhymes on the spot. Soon after, the tune caught buzz.
