With a name like Krissy Krash, you know you’re not getting a delicate, timid lady.
Krissy earned her moniker as a hard-hitting blocker on the roller derby circuit. Now, as a personal trainer and life coach living in Costa Rica, she’s traded throwing elbows for surfing waves.
The Seattle native shares her journey from high school athlete, to wild college gal, to roller derby queen, to expat.
She also reveals how a spur-of-the moment trip to Fiji to meet a Tinder date led to scuba trips to Australia, Egypt and beyond.
Krissy was traveling through Costa Rica when the pandemic hit, and decided to ride it out in the beachfront town of Nosara. She’s since bought property and is putting down roots.
