Ever take off on a bike ride and wonder how far you could actually go?
Jacob Lemanski did just that, hopping on his bicycle in Colorado and taking off to to test his limits.
When all was said and done, Jacob had biked solo across six continents, over 38,000 miles in 999 days.
While days were spent riding through cities, villages, mountains, jungle and deserts, most nights Jacob recovered by sleeping in a hammock under the stars.
Jacob persevered through extreme weather, wild animals, suspicious (and armed) locals, police, border agents, and much much more.
Now settled firmly back in the Denver area, Jacob hasn’t given up the road completely – he now operates a bike tour company when he’s not making art and doing his own podcast about his incredible journey, “How To Move The Stars.”
Thanks, Jacob. You’ve earned your rest!
