Bob Gillespie has been a funny guy since the day I met him.
The decade was the early 1990’s, and the place was Chicago, where Bob and I cut our teeth as young comedians working comedy clubs throughout the midwest.
But as I left for greener showbiz pastures in New York and Los Angeles, Bob stayed in the midwest and became a success in another field he clearly had a knack for – business.
By leaving comedy and entering the “normal” working world, Bob thought he had left the road behind. In fact, his travels were just getting started.
Working various jobs in tech and finance, Bob soon found himself living in London and Instanbul, while visiting numerous countries throughout Asia, Europe and South America.
With his son about to graduate high school, Bob now has his sights set on living abroad full-time.
And, he’s still funny!
