A comedian accustomed to being on the road for long stretches, Avi is not one for sitting still.
As a holder of both American and Israeli passports, Avi, who caught Covid early and developed antibodies, utilized whatever tools he could to avoid pandemic lockdowns.
Basing himself out of Tel Aviv, Avi got to work finding countries he was allowed to visit, sometimes narrowly missing forced lockdowns by a matter of hours.
During 2020’s global pandemic, Avi still managed to visit places as diverse as Dubai, Bulgaria, Serbia, Turkey, and Russia.
Flight delays, quarantines, vaccines, masks and more: Avi has seen it through the lens of differing cultures and lands.
