Who knew being skilled at arts & crafts in school could lead to Hollywood and around the world?
Amy Whetsel found that out in a big way.
From building a better Prom Queen crown in her graduating class of 12 in small-town South Dakota, Amy made her way to Hollywood, where she designs costumes and special effects for movies.
Amy’s skills have taken her to film sets as far away as India and throughout Europe.
She also travels extensively on her own, having recently hiked the Camino de Santiago in Spain, toured Scottish Highlands and snorkeled in the Maldives.
Amy took a break from the costume Dept. long enough to share some Travel Tales with us, and we’re happy she did!
