As a young man in the late ’70’s, Nick took off from his home in Maine with a desire to live among the natives of remote northwest Alaska.
He made a living as a hunting guide, teacher, and eventually made his mark as an author and photographer.
Nick has written twelve books and hundreds of magazine articles on Alaska, and his photo exhibit, Visions of Wild Alaska, is currently being shown on all Princess Cruises ships in Alaska waters.
We met while we both were working on a Princess cruise, and Nick was good enough to share his Amazing Tales of his amazing life.
