Most people who travel extensively throughout the world come in contact with poverty levels unseen in their home countries. Few do anything about it. Jessica Blotter is not one of those people.
When she encountered starving animals on a trip to Belize years ago, Jessica hatched a plan to provide charitable aid to local organizations wherever she traveled. Thus, KindTraveler.com was born.
Launching Aug. 2, KindTraveler.com provides lower rates on hotels and other travel-related services in exchange for donations to local charities at those locations.
Jessica’s idea not only encourages travel and human interaction, but also gives back to needy communities who may not often share in tourism profits.
Combining travel and charity- what a great idea!
Hear Jessica’s story and be inspired to not only see the world, but give back while doing it.
Bravo, Jessica!
