Some may think if you live in Los Angeles, there’s hardly a need to go to Mexico to improve your Spanish.
Yet that’s just what comedian Lisa Alvarado did, spending six weeks in Puerto Vallarta to sharpen her language skills and even perform some comedy along the way.
Lisa, a Chicago native, learned Spanish from her Peruvian parents at a young age, but was encouraged to speak English as much as possible.
Proving it’s never too late to learn, Lisa headed south of the border, and now speaks Spanish like a native…Angelino.
Listen to Lisa’a Travel Tales and be sure to see her shows and say hola when she’s in your town!
