Talk about flipping the script.
Back in the early 2000’s, Ken Kristensen was living the life that all travel bloggers of today aspire to- he was being paid to travel the world and report on it.
Ken knew his life as a travel writer was over when he found himself on a beach on the exotic Greek island of Crete surrounded by beauty, yet he longed to be somewhere else.
That somewhere else was Hollywood, and soon Ken enrolled in film school, eventually making his way to LaLAa Land and becoming a successful screenwriter.
Luckily for us, Ken still has a great memory of his many adventures in the travel trade: stitching his own knee wound with dental floss in Zimbabwe, crash landing a hang glider in Rio de Janeiro, puking his guts out on a Mexico street, and so much more.
I stopped by Ken’s office in Hollywood to hear his many Tales and share a laugh or two. And talk about textbook Los Angeles – an earthquake hit during the interview!
