When you imagine a “Digital Nomad”, what image pops in your head?
For many, the term conjures up images of sexy twentysomethings living in a van and chasing waterfalls in-between beach days in exotic locales.
Nathan James Thomas knows better.
For Nathan, there are many definitions of digital nomad, and they come in all shapes and sizes.
Growing up in far-flung New Zealand, Nathan always had an eye on foreign destinations and something different from his own back yard. By supporting himself through his writing, Nathan realized he could live just about anywhere.
He settled in the UK, then quickly found all of Europe at his doorstep. Not content on simply the Western World, it was on to years spent in China and beyond.
As remote working grew around the world, he realized he had much to share about the lifestyle.
Nathan’s new book, “Untethered – Living the Digital Nomad Life In An Uncertain World” lifts the veil on both the highs and lows of modern remote living .
Now settled with his wife in Poznan, Poland, Nathan drops some wisdom with us on what he’s learned, where he’s been, and what remote living and working will look like in the future.
