Think you know cruise ships? Think Again!
I recently returned from an awesome travel experience aboard the Safari Voyager in Baja California with Uncruise Adventures.
What’s Uncruise? It’s a boutique cruise line that focuses less on casinos, shuffleboard, and glitzy shows, and more on adventure, nature, and activities.
Uncruise Adventures are all about the Great Outdoors. With ships exploring Baja, Alaska, Galapagos, and Central America, guests are guaranteed to experience incredible scenery and all manner of wildlife, both on land or under the sea.
During my seven-day Uncruise in the Sea of Cortez, I snorkeled with sea lions, touched gray whales, rode burros, kayaked, paddleboarded, hiked, and watched dolphins play alongside the ship.
While on board Safari Voyager, I interviewed Capt. Andrea Kosto and Adventures Coordinator Erika Hernandez Calvo (AKA Keka). They shared with me their histories of how they came to Uncruise, the ups and downs of the job, their own Travel Tales and experiences, and much more.
