Some people take photos when they travel. Chef Shannon Smith takes inspiration.
The proud Oklahoma native was inspired to cook in home economics class in high school, and later in life cooking became the spark that led her around the world.
While traveling to over 50 countries, Shannon gathered ideas and recipes from Asia, to South America, Europe, and beyond.
Upon returning home to Tulsa, Shannon began hosting travel-themed dinners for groups at her house, which blossomed into a business and led to local TV appearances.
Shannon is now working on a cookbook and continues to travel and inspire not only herself, but also the many who follow her on YouTube and social media.
