Who’s ready for some adventure?!
From an early age, Melissa McGibbon was ready to answer that call. The Utah native first got bit by the travel bug when her junior high French class took a bus tour of Europe. From then on, she was ready to see more and more.
Another alumni of Semester at Sea, Melissa’s college experience was highlighted by a visit to Cuba, where she met Fidel Castro himself.
A lifetime outdoor enthusiast, Melissa worked in ski resorts and later began writing for various publications on travel, destinations, and gear reviews.
Her work has been seen in Outside and Backpacker magazines, Lonely Planet, HuffPost, and many many more.
Melissa shares Tales of skiing, scuba diving, hiking, and roaming around the world, as well as in her beloved backyard of Utah.
