That’s where Eytan Elterman comes in.
Along with a few friends, Eytan founded Lokal Travel, a marketplace for booking local, sustainable adventures around the world.
The Berkeley, CA native always loved travel, but wanted to give back to the regions he visited. This was the impetus behind Lokal Travel – plan each trip to make sure it provides an amazing travel experience and benefits the local community.
Prior to Lokal, he cofounded iSeeiTravel media, and directed an award-winning documentary about rainforest conservation in Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula.
Eytan shares his many varied Travel Tales with us. Among the favorites- he even lived in Buenos Aires for a year and made his living as a hip-hop nightclub DJ! Great story you need to hear.
