Travis King was at a crossroads.
The Milwaukee native finished graduate school hesitant about taking the traditional path in life, and decided a short trip abroad would help clear his head – the trip lasted ten years.
From working on a fishing boat, to being kayak guide, bartender, or fruit farmer, Travis always seemed to find a way to make a living wherever he happened to be in the world.
Sure he may have been thrown in jail in Australia, sick with food poisoning in India, or constantly on the verge of poverty, but he doesn’t regret a thing.
Finally Travis decided to put down those memories on paper. His Tales can be found in his new travel memoir, “Not That Anyone Asked,” available now on Amazon.
Travis called in from his new home in Oaxaca, Mexico, where he’s finally putting down roots. All we can say is, gracias, Travis!
