Sometimes it’s all in the timing.
New Jersey native Amy Rachlin graduated from Boston University just in time to snare a job at MTV during its early-’90’s heyday.
After briefly living in London, Amy got hired at MTV, where she met an up-and-coming young comedian named Jon Stewart.
Amy was hired as a photographer on Stewart’s talk show.
MTV was also where she encountered a hot new band named Pearl Jam, and soon she was on the road as the group’s East Coast photographer.
Eventually, Amy made her way to Los Angeles, where she’s worn many hats as photographer, web designer, actor, writer and director.
She was nice enough to drop by the Travel Tales studios and share a bit of her life story. We enjoyed her company, and hope you will too!
